It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Lee Towne of South Glens Falls, New York, born in Granville, New York, who passed away on April 19, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Alonzo and Hazel Lee (Morehouse); her husband Raymond; and her son Kenneth Richard Towne. She is survived by: her children, Martha Gordon (Joe) of Fort Ann, Eric Lee Towne (Roberta) of Granville, Emily Lorraine Martell (Melvin) of Granville, Melissa Mae Towne and Philip Wayne Towne (Judy); her siblings, Philip Lee and Ethel Mae Peterson of Granville; and also Paula Buzzell Towne of Granville. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
