He is survived by: his parents, Vernon Maxam and Ida Maxam (Cameron); his spouse Joan Breen; his children, Lisa Stone (Jeff), MaryJo Taylor (Dennis), Carolyn Bannon (Edward), Lynne Gill (Rusty) of Fort Edward, Roger Maxam of Chestertown and David Maxam; his siblings, Betty Wells of Florida, Shirley Capone of Queensbury and Donald Maxam of Wilton; and his significant other Sylvia McCall. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
