Barbara Ann Helwig Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Chenier and Mary Chenier (Burnett); her brother Thomas; her sister-in-law Jean Chenier; and her parents-in-law, Addie and Harold Longfritz.

She is survived by: her significant other John Helwig (Jack); her children, Jackie Whelden (Allen) of Chazy Lake, NY, Greg Helwig (Gwen) of Queensbury, NY and Jeff Helwig (Robin) of Plattsburgh, NY.; her grandchildren, Garrett Bishop (Ashley), Blake Ballard (Brett), Kayla Laughlin (Max), Joseph Champagne (Rachel), Brooke Maggy (Mitch) and Brian Bowe (Kaeleen); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kristi (Billy), Kasey, Hillary (Mike) and Ethan; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Riley, Greyson, Colton, Maeve, Ella and Beckham.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the M. B. Kilmer Funeral Home- SGF (136 Main St, South Glens Falls, NY 12803). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church (80 Saratoga Ave, South Glens Falls, NY 12803). A reception was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
