With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyle Robert Patterson of South Cairo, New York, born in Athens, New York, who passed away on June 2, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Patterson (Eckler) and Lyle Patterson; his son Dale Patterson; his grandson David Ross; his brother Donald Patterson; and his sister-in-law Jane Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Arline Patterson (Beers); his daughters, Roberta Hopper and Laura Skelly (Tom); his children-in-law, Shari Patterson and Sam Hopper; his grandchildren, Jarrod (Alyssa), Jason, Andrew (Bri), Chandler, Tyler Patterson, Jessica Fredenburgh, Angeline Alberson, Gary, Rose Hopper, Victor Linary, Josh (Jenny) and Megan Skelly; his great grandchildren, Darren, Tyler, Ross Fredenburgh, Connor, Kayla, Chloe, Claire Alberson, Oaklynn Patterson and Rafael Skelly; his great great grandchildren, Hannah Fredenburgh and Clayton Brandow Fredenburgh; his siblings, Sally Patterson, Thomas, David (Patty), William (Joan), Raymond (Vickie) and Gary Patterson (Jane); and his sister-in-law Doris Patterson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
