He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur P. Hellenbrecht and Elizabeth Hilbert Hellenbrecht; and his brother Arthur W. Hellenbrecht. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Winter Hellenbrecht; his children, Amy Burns (Brian Burns) and Christopher Hellenbrecht (Lori Migdol); and his grandchildren, Tyler Burns and Kori Burns. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
