She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Martin and Lillian Martin (Schaeffler); her husband George Cone; and her siblings, Joan Shea and Larry Martin.
She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas Martin and Terry Martin (Bruno Loehrer); her children, George Cone, Jr. (Cynthia), Janine Metcalf (Matt) and Thomas Cone; her grandchildren, George Cone, III, Dan Cone (Rebecca), Matthew Metcalf (Gray) and Virginia Metcalf (Ginny); and her sister-in-law Margaret Martin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Josephs RC Church (95 Plum Brook Rd, Somers, NY 10589).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Virgina L. Cone's memory.
