He was predeceased by: his parents, John Moir and Camille Moir; and his siblings, Bruce Moir and Susanne Baker. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis "Liss" Moir; his daughter Erin Weisenfeld; his son-in-law Andy Weisenfeld; his grandson Kieran Weisenfeld; and his brothers, John and David Moir. He is also survived by his family and his pets.
