It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Garon of Somers, New York, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry McGinness and Lillian McGinness (Burton); and her husband George J. Garon, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Susan (Garon), Havelka (Joseph), Kenneth Garon (Janice Adorno) and Robert Garon (Renea Pells); her grandchildren, Andrea (Garon), Steven Tait, Suzanne (Havelka), Nicholas Maiorano, Kenneth, Heather Garon (Taranto) and Kurt Relation; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Nora, June Tait, Reina Buonora, Paul Garon, Jason DiLeo, Wyatt and Vivian Relation.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Horn & Thomes, INC Funeral Home (83 E Main St, Pawling, NY 12564). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Catholic Church (62 Mill St, Dover Plains, NY 12522).
