He was predeceased by: his wife Marion (Celia). He is survived by: his daughter Maryann (Michael); his grandsons, Michael, Jamey and Matthew; his grandchildren-in-law, Alicia, Krystle and Melissa; and his great grandchildren, Madeline, Ryan, Juliana, Jillian, Jocelyn, Vivien and Norah. He is also survived by his family, friends.
After his military service, Joseph worked at Manhattan's Academy of Medicine, where he made contributions to the field and fostered a deep passion for science and discovery.
