Joan DeMelis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan DeMelis of Somers, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Brucale and Theresa Brucale (Lacerra); and her husband Guy DeMelis. She is survived by: her sons, Guy (Erica) of Mahopac, NY, Richard of Somers, NY and John (Claudia) of Redding, CT.; and her grandchildren, Joseph, Amanda, Nathaniel and Lia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clark Associates Funeral Home (4 Woodsbridge Rd, Katonah, NY 10536). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (95 Plum Brook Rd, Somers, NY 10589).
