He was predeceased by: his parents, Sabatino DeMelis and Theresa DeMelis; his wife Joan; and his sons, Guy (Erica) of Mahopac, NY, Richard of Somers, NY and John (Claudia) of Redding, CT..
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Joseph, Amanda, Nathaniel and Lia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clark Associates Funeral Home (4 Woodsbridge Rd, Katonah, NY 10536). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (95 Plum Brook Rd, Somers, NY 10589).
