With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Giannetta of Somers, New York, who passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Edward and Anna Giannetta Edward (Mezzacappa); his wife Agatha (Aggie) of Somers, NY.; his sons, Edward of Somers, Lawrence of Newburgh and Matthew of Carmel; his daughters-in-law, Wendy (Edward), Cheryl (Lawrence) and Maria (Matthew); his grandfather Pia; his grandchildren, Andrew, Amanda, Daniel, Morgan and Nicole; his grandson-in-law Alex Zawodniak; and his brothers, Salvatore, James and Lawrence Giannetta.
He is survived by: his brother Richard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clark Associates Funeral Home (4 Woodsbridge Rd, Katonah, NY 10536). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (95 Plum Brook Rd, Somers, NY 10589). A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Josephs Cemetery (95 Plum Brook Rd, Somers, NY 10589).
