With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Michlik (Somers, New York), born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dorothy Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dorothy Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mathis and Jennie Mathis (Jeker); and her brother Charles Mathis. She is survived by: her husband William Michlik; her daughters, Jeannine Jamieson (Glenn) and Donna Braccia (Dan); and her grandchildren, Nicole Jamieson Robinson (Michael), Kelly Jamieson, Daniel Braccia and Katherine Braccia.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (95 Plum Brook Rd, Somers, NY 10589).
Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made in memory of Dorothy to the Salvation Army.
