He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Capella and Connie Capella (Bome); his wife Regina (Albrigo); his brother Henry; his sister-in-law Mary Capella; and his sister Aurelia "Honey" Gruzlewski.

He is survived by: his sons, Henry of Solvay and Jeffrey Capella (Chris) of Solvay; and his grandchildren, Javin and Chloe Capella. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
