It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Mae (Cassalia) Bonaccio of Solvay, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on July 12, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Cassalia (Palladino) and Sebastian "Ben" Cassalia; her husband Anthony Bonaccio; her siblings, John "Jack" Cassalia, David Cassalia, Patrick Cassalia and Frances Palladine; and also, Michael, Dominic, James Bonaccio, Antoinette VanNamee, Louise Albert and Josephine Bonaccio.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Sharon, Kathy and Danielle; her children, Anthony (Connie) of Shelburne, Vermont, Mary (Robert Green) of Rochester, John (Carol Deninger) of Dewitt and Margaret (Mary Bolton) of Sammamish, Washington.; her grandchildren, Benjamin Bonaccio (Carolyn Bauer) of Burlington, Vermont, Nicholas Bonaccio (Joscelyn) of Madison, Wisconsin, Matthew Bonaccio of Syracuse, Thomas Bonaccio (Jenna) of New York, NY, Joseph Green (Anja) of Dallas, Texas, Jack Henry Green of Rochester, Laura Borate (Brian) of Rochester and Bill Green of Rochester; her nephew Robert; her niece Dennise; and her cousin Theresa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
