Richard Desantis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Desantis of Solvay, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeSantis and Eleanor DeSantis (Perrin); and his brother John DeSantis (Doreen). He is survived by: his sister Carol Westfall; his children, Rich, Mark DeSantis (Kim), Nanette Fiala (Dominic) and Kathryn Oddo (Tim); and his stepchildren, David Destefano and Danielle Curcio (Rob). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home (2601 Milton Ave, Solvay, NY 13209). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a local charity of your choosing.
