With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Philip A. Winkworth of Solvay, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Philip departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Philip. Though Philip may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin B. Winkworth and Rita Winkworth of Solvay; and his half-brother Edwin "Winky" Winkworth of Utica, NY.. He is survived by: his daughter Maria Winkworth of Syracuse; his siblings, Joseph Winkworth of Solvay, John Winkworth of Delaware and Honey Winkworth (Gladys) of Rochester, NY.; and his cousins, Peter and Fred Seitz of Boston. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tindall Funeral Home Inc. (1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13204).
