She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Needham and Elsie Needham. She is survived by: her children, Michael Solamon (Kristyn) of Camillus, Maureen Mahar (Carl) of Parish and Dawnmarie Solamon of Lakeland; her grandchildren, Michael-Paul (Lindsey), Brian (Kate), Andrew, Josh (Jenn), CJ (Meaghan), Jason, Richard and Samantha; her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Lilly, Annalynn, Ollie, Paislee, Logan and Caylee; and her siblings, Michael Needham of Santa Barbara, CA, Roberta Wells of Camillus and Kathy Anthony (Bobby) of Weeki Wachee, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As a testament to medical education, Maureen chose to donate her body to SUNY Upstate's Anatomical Gift Program. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the 2024 Cancer Center Annual Fund, The Upstate Foundation, Inc., 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13210.
