It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia M. Gartland-Hoke of Solvay, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bull and Elizabeth Bull (Wilson); her husband Truman Hoke; and her siblings, Dorothy Rauch, Marjorie Peterson and Dr. Harvie Bull.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Loucks (John) of Liverpool, Gini Carlson (Brian) of Virginia Beach, VA, Glenn Gartland (Judith) of Cincinnati, OH and Gary Gartland (Michele) of Central Square; her grandchildren, Amy Gartland, Alicia Kelly (Michael), Tanner Gartland (Meghan) and Kyle Carlson (Olivia); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Rory Gartland, Riley Carlson, Quinn Kelly and Aubrey Jane Carlson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at a later date at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second St., Liverpool, NY 13088 with burial in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. ln lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Georgia's memory to Meals on Wheels of Syracuse, 300 Burt St., Syracuse, NY 13202 or the Humane Association of CNY, 4915 West Taft Road Liverpool, NY 13088 or the SPCA, 5878 E.
