He is survived by: his wife Patricia Krause (Louise); his children, Kelly Burns (Michael), Tim Krause (Nilla) and Maggie Rice (Chris); his grandchildren, Jesse Hunt (Kelsey), Aaron Hunt (Yeliz), Kyle Hunt (Samantha), Nicholas Krause, Marissa Krause, Alexandra Krause, Lia Rice and Phoebe Burns; his great grandchild Jack Hunt; and his sister Anne Scobell (Frederick).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Syracuse VA Medical Center.
