He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Del (Haney); his son Charles Del Prato; his parents, Gaudenzio Prato and Anna Del Prato (Bianchi); and his brothers, Rinaldo and Henry.
He is survived by: his children, Ellen Neill of Apopka, FL, James (Maria) of Syracuse, Joan Kloiber (James) of Syracuse, Joyce Ariglio (Basil) of Jonesborough, TN and Alfred Jr. (Merlyn) of Melbourne, FL; his daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Del Prato of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Gregory, Keith Morgan, Seth, Jessica Del Prato, Dr. Paul Del Prato, Victoria Cummings (Thomas), Mary, Hannah Kloiber, Claire and Thomas Ariglio; and his great grandchildren, Elijah and Aliyah.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Marianne Cope Parish - St. Cecilia (1001 Woods Rd, Syracuse, NY 13209).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Marianne Cope Parish – St. Cecilia Church, 105 Stanton Ave, Solvay, NY 13209.
