He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Buenau Sr. and Mary "Ruth" Buenau (McGowan). He is survived by: his son-in-law Michael Granger; his wife Milvi; his children, Laura Granger and Carl Ericson; his child-in-law Kris Ericson; his grandchildren, Luke Granger, Alec Granger and Michele Adler (Justin Adler); and his great grandchild Mackenzie Rae Adler.
