With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lothar K. Reissig of Smithtown, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Diane Trippodi; his children, Roy Reissig (Gail) and Rosemary Brown (Dan); his stepchildren, Joey Trippodi (Caralyn) and Christine Trippodi; his grandchildren, Randal, Bryan, Jason, Renee and Nicole; and his siblings, Lorraine Vitale, Gabriella Mongelluzzo and Brunhilde Sala.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Branch Funeral Home (190 E Main St, Smithtown, NY 11787). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. James Lutheran Church (230 2nd Ave, St James, NY 11780).
