She was predeceased by: her parents, Stella and Joseph. She is survived by: her brother Victor; her husband Bob Gambardella; her children, MaryAnne Haney (Jeff), Rob Gambardella (Mary Ellen) and AnnMarie Mundinger (Kevin); her grandchildren, Brian Haney (Rachel), Bobby Haney (Katie), Brandon Haney (Juliana), Samantha Tangel (Will), Josh Gambardella, Justin Gambardella and Christopher Mundinger; and her great grandchildren, Cameron Haney and Vienna Haney.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Branch Funeral Home (190 E Main St, Smithtown, NY 11787). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's R C Church (280 E Main St, Smithtown, NY 11787).
In lieu of flowers, JoAnn's family requests that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association, God's Love We Deliver, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
