Gary W. Matthews Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary W. Matthews of Smithtown, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Matthews and William R. Matthews of Albany; and his siblings-in-law, Janet and Douglas Botsford. He is survived by: his wife Carol Matthews (Burns); his children, Christian (Kristy) of Mint Hill, N. C., Justin (Danielle) of Commack, N. Y. and William (Alyssa) of Fort Mill, S. C.; his grandchildren, Ellieana, Sean, William, Peyton, Everly, Valentina, Avery and Emily; his siblings, Glorya, Gayle, Gene (Douglas) and Gerard; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Domenico, Robert Campbell, Patricia and Michael Zabinski.
