He is survived by: his wife Leni; and his sons, Frank Bonura (James Pollock) and Christopher Bonura.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Branch Funeral Home (190 E Main St, Smithtown, NY 11787). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the St. Patrick's R C Church (280 E Main St, Smithtown, NY 11787). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the St. Patrick's Cemetery (183 Mt Pleasant Rd, Smithtown, NY 11787). When Covid-19 struck, he continued to treat patients, adding telehealth to his repertoire.
