He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lincoln Pierce and Sophronia Pierce (Liddle); his wife Frances Hope; and his sons, Robert F. Pierce, Jr. (Laurie) of Maine, Scott A. Pierce (Zoe) of Hudson and Dean A. Pierce (Lorie) of New Mexico. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
