He was predeceased by: his parents, David Mattas and Margaret Birch Mattas. He is survived by: his wife Rose Hodgkins Mattas; his children, Christopher M. Mattas Jr., Matthew Mattas, Nicholas Mattas, Lynn Parker (Jeffrey), Rebecca Shufelt and Amanda Shufelt; and his brothers, Randy Mattas (Kathy) and David Mattas Jr.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
