He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia K. Stack; his son Michael Stachowski; his parents, Bertha Stachowski and Louis Stachowski; his parents-in-law, Elizabeth and Boleslaus Kwiecien; his siblings, Richard Stachowski (Helen) and Mary Ann Stachowski; and his siblings-in-law, Arthur Kwiecien (late Charlotte), Walter Oleniewski (late Ceil) and Irene Olenski.

He is survived by: his daughter April Stack.
