He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard V. Carey and Margaret Carey; his daughter Patricia Carey; his granddaughter Amber Carey; and his siblings, Donald Carey (late Noreen) and Doris Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Carey; his children, Judy Wahl (Frank), Timothy Carey (Angela), William Carey (Elizabeth) and Edward Carey (Cynthia); his stepdaughter Judith Cohen (Stewart); his grandchildren, Michael Carey (Michaela), Jeneen, Christine Lipka (Eric), Rebecca Baron (Jason), Frank Wahl Jr. (Brittany), Heather Jankowski (Jake), Matthew Carey and Stacey Bates (Shane); his great grandchildren, William, Gwendolyn, Lily, Jack, Frank III, Evelyn, Finley and Dominik; and his brother John E. Carey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
