He was predeceased by: his parents, Saul J. Cohen and Ruth Aronstein Cohen; his brothers, Edward and Bernard; and his cousins, Claire Rosenfield and Alma Arlos.
He is survived by: his wife Iris Cohen of Slingerlands, NY; his children, Jeffrey Cohen (Jackie Gaffney) of Slingerlands, NY, Andrew Cohen (Laurie) of San Francisco, CA and Ruth Cohen (Robert Thistle) of Lee, MA.; his grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah Cohen, Devan (Ashleigh), Quinn, Carolyn Cohen, John and Patricia Thistle; his siblings, Janet B. Lysy (Dusan) and Stephen J. Cohen; his siblings-in-law, Christina Cohen, Geraldine Cohen and Alan Sidman (Sharman); and his nieces and nephews, Sherri Lysy, Erin Johnstone (Eric), Kara Lysy, David Lysy (Meg), Derek Cohen, Cheryl Cohen Owens (Charles), Michael Cohen (Shana), Stasha Cohen (Mark), Mark Woolsey Paige (Sonya) and David Cohen (Kathleen).
