She was predeceased by: her parents, William Straub and Frances Straub; and her siblings, William Straub and Theresa Hettenbach. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Gerhard; her sons, David (Michele Gerhard), Brian (LeAnn Gerhard) and Gregory (Lauren Gerhard); her grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Brady and Colin; and her brother Gerard Straub. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a dozen godchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Beverwyck (40 Autumn Dr, Slingerlands, NY 12159).
