With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Messer of Slingerlands, New York, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on June 24, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hyman Lessman and Frieda Lessman; and her husband Gilbert Messer. She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Messer (Ethan Bloch); her stepdaughter Susan Steinmetz (William Corr); her sister Harriet Paintner (late David); her grandchildren, Allison Corr (Scott Schneider), Leah Corr (Jeremy Rogoff), Gil Messer and Ada Messer; her great grandchildren, Eli Rogoff, Isabel Rogoff and Eleanor Schneider; and her close friend Ed Dollinger.
