Carmelo T. Genovese Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carmelo T. Genovese of Slingerlands, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Filippo Genovese and Antonia Azzarello Genovese; his wife Veronica Lavenia Genovese; his child Thomas Genovese; and his siblings, Salvatore, Basilio, Nino, Josephine, Maria and Angelina.
He is survived by: his children, Antoinette Tomlin (Wil), Phillip Genovese (Nicole) and Christina Mejias (Gilbert); and his grandchildren, Christian Tomlin, Zachary Tomlin, Joseph Tomlin, Dante Genovese, Sydney Genovese, Gabriel Mejias, Alexa Mejias and Valorey Mejias. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Matthew's Church (25 Mountainview St, Voorheesville, NY 12186). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
