She is survived by: her children, Denise Asselta (Ret), Rear Admiral Christopher Asselta of Fla and Rene Van Kersbergen (Danielle) of Skaneateles; and her grandchildren, Stephen Asselta, Victoria Asselta (Logan Demere), Gavin and Jensen Van Kersbergen. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
