With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert John Schattner of Skaneateles, New York, who passed away on April 3, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; his grandson Tyler Kobuszewski; his parents, Harold Schattner and Grace Schattner; and his stepchildren, Rich Purcell and Kathy Merluzzi (Miles).
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Kobuszewski (Frank) of Camillus, Robert of Richmond, VA, Michael (Martha) of Syracuse and Steven (Christine) of Concord, NC; his sister Carol Schattner of Syracuse; his stepchildren, Lynn Marinelli (Anthony), Mary Purcell, Steve Purcell, John Purcell (Helen), Thomas Purcell (Joanne) and Susan Popov (Ziva); and his siblings-in-law, David Campbell and Suzanne Campbell. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
