It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann O'Toole Maywalt of Skaneateles, New York, born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Murphy and Margaret R. Murphy; and her brother Michael L. Murphy. She is survived by: her children, Thomas J. O'Toole (Cathy) of Owasco, NY, Molly Mahoney (Dan) of Auburn, NY, Michael J. O'Toole (Melanie) of Warrenton, VA and Kathleen McKenzie (Tim) of Amherst, NY; her siblings, Catherine Lavarnway and Thomas F. Murphy (Barbara); her siblings-in-law, Janice Murphy, Joyce Pastore, David H. Maywalt (Cindy) and Timothy E. Maywalt (Mary); her great grandchildren, Declan, Finn, Lily, Leo, Siena, Donny and Vinny; and also, Sheila Perrotti (Carmen), Martha Maywalt-Decker (Rich), Sarah Maywalt and Michael F. Maywalt (Lynda). She is also survived by nieces and nephews; great-nieces and -nephews; and even great-grand nieces.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am June 11, 2021, at St. Mary's Church, 15 Clark St., Auburn, NY, 13021.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Matthew House, Inc., 43 Metcalf Drive, Auburn, NY, 13021 or the American Legion Post 239, 3808 Jordan Rd, Skaneateles, NY 13152.
