She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Sullivan; her son Nicholas H. Sullivan; her former husband Dr. Paul W. Gilbert; her parents, John Flanagan and Margaret Flanagan; and her siblings, El McGann, Dorothy Dembroske, Margaret Flanagan, Susan DeFazio and John "Jack" Flanagan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Jacobs (Fredrick) of Lansing, MI, Elizabeth Azzam (Albert) of Raleigh, NC, Nancy McDowell (Douglas) of Skaneateles, NY and Mary Madore (Jack) of Bloomington, IN; and her sister Suzanne Congel of Fayetteville, NY. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
