He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Spain and Omar Spain; and his siblings, Nancy, Thomas and James.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bendall Spain; his children, Jeffrey (Patricia) and Amber Spain-Mosher (Peter); his grandchildren, Parker, Phoebe, Joslynn Spain, Jonas, Genevieve Kerr, Mason, Eden, Jack and Sam Mosher; his brother Norman (Judy); and his sisters-in-law, Pamela and Leigh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
