With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald E. Cox of Skaneateles, New York, who passed away on December 19, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry (Mildred Hannum Cox) and Skaneateles; his daughter Jeanne Pratt; and his sisters, Barbara Hawks, Betty Austin and Linda Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy; the mother of his children Virgina [John] Shaffran; his son-in-law Mike Pratt; his grandchildren, Mindy Pratt Rodriguez and Joseph Pratt; his great grandchildren, Brixton Rodriguez, Iona Pratt and Roxanne Pratt; and his stepdaughters, Susan Barrett and Jackie Heymsfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations in the memory of Donald's life can be made to the Skaneateles American Legion, 3808 Jordan Road, Skaneateles, NY 13152.
