He is survived by: his wife Cherie L. Haines (Bowers); and his children, David W. Haines (Pamela), Holly McCurdy (Rick), Rebecca Shiffer (Joseph), Joseph M. Haines II (Mary Lou) and Taylor M. Haines (Megan). He is also survived by his five grandchildren, one great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
