She was predeceased by: her father Henry Ford Pettigrew; her son Spencer Johns; and her stepfather Howard Falkner. She is survived by: her mother Lucille Edna Clester Falkner; her children, Uriah (Katelynn) and Tabitha; her grandchildren, Alyianah, Abigail and Clayre; and her siblings, Rita Sergel (Bruce), Roy Pettigrew (Kelly), Wendi Wright (Scott) and Elizabeth Cox (Sean). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
