He was predeceased by: his wife Ramona Palotta Murphy; his parents, Helen Murphy and Patrick Murphy; his brothers, Patrick and Joseph Murphy; and his stepson Stephen Manette.
He is survived by: his sisters, Gerarda Raymond and Joan McCormack (Terry McCormack); and his stepdaughter Mona Manette Parker (Stephen Parker). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
