It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denise I. Carney (Silver Lake, New York), born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on December 25, 2016, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis O'Brien and Lieselotta Meinenger Callaro; her husband Kenneth Carney; and her siblings, Carol Salamone and Harold O'Brien.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Borokowski (Nick) of Rochester, Kenny Carney of Rochester and Katrina Arnold (Randy) of Cortland; and her siblings, Bob O'Brien (Shari) of Henrietta, Lorraine Akin of Warsaw, Deb O'Brien of Perry, Linda McMurtry (Bob) of Silver Lake, David O'Brien of Perry, Donald Callaro of Silver Springs and Steven Callaro (Tina) of Pike. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
