He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sr. McKinnon and Florence McKinnon; and his brother Michael McKinnon. He is survived by: his son Derek McKinnon (Katie); his grandson Maxwell McKinnon; his siblings, Daniel McKinnon (Sue) of Forestville, NY and Cindy Brown (late Tom) of Dunkirk, NY; his stepchildren, Robert Cain (Renae) of Holland, NY and Palma Labarbera of Sheridan, NY; and his stepgrandchildren, Madison and Lukas Cain.
