It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Nomes of Silver Creek, New York, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Nomes and Gertrude Nomes; and his wife Olive Newton. He is survived by: his children, Paul J. Nomes (Judy) of Frewsburg, NY and Carol Wojciechowski (Skip); and his sister Joanne Freeman of Evanston, Ill.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
