It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L Porpiglia of Silver Creek, New York, who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry B. Miller and Anna M. Miller (Holzinger); and her sisters, Virginia Ball, Alice Schnur, Nola Guzzetta, Annie Beamish and Donna Sikorski.
She is survived by: her husband Salvatore C. Porpiglia; her children, Thomas A. Porpiglia of Webster, NY, Sandra A. Porpiglia (Tim Bailey) of Geneva, NY, Samuel C. Porpiglia of Silver Creek, Cathy Jo Pitts of Jamestown, NY and Michael J. Porpiglia (Judy) of Sinclairville, NY.; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Morgan Moran, Dave (Lori), Todd Polisoto, Beth Ann Nencetti, Abbey Allen (Rob) and Adam Nedvesky (Michelle Frey); her great grandchildren, Elise, Anna, Sophia, Olivia, Claudia, Marya, Vikki, Aspen, Aster, Jade and Lillian; and her great great grandchildren, Mia Rose and Zayn. She is also survived by family- especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 PM Friday, January 7, 2022 at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, (Due to the Covid-19 pandemic masks are required). Interment will be private at Mt Carmel Cemetery.
