He is survived by: his wife Janis Miller Engel; his siblings, Florence Tipton and John Engel; and his children, Rodney (Gwen), Charlie (Mary), Timothy (Kathy) and Tina Dalrymple (Scott). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
