We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2023, at the age of 98, Priscilla VanValkenburg of Sidney, New York, born in Deposit, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Morgan Axtell and Olive Vosburgh Axtell; and her siblings, Clayton Axtell, Jr., Ruth Axtell, Elizabeth Ella Axtell Stearns and Delos Axtell.
She is survived by: her husband Elwin VanValkenburg; her children, Ann Hammer (Richard, Sr.) of Speedway, IN, Pamela Lindberg (Robert) of Darien, CT and David VanValkenburg (Cathy Vigneri); her great grandchild Richard Hammer, Jr. (Katie); her granddaughters, Juliana Hammer Piercefield, Kate Lindberg and Emily Lindberg (Christine Wu); and her daughters, Naiome Stubbing Jones of New Zealand and Dr. Florence Atienza Sy.
