She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hyatt and Lorena Hyatt (Haynes); her brother Horace Hyatt; her sister-in-law Dolores (Keefer); and her sons-in-law, John Funaro, John Hartwell and Terry Christian.
She is survived by: her spouse Carroll Ostrander of Rockdale; her daughters, Michele Hartwell, Jodie Bennett-Edwards (Ron), Jill Palmer (Gerald), Lorie Ostrander (Charles) and Nicole Christian; her sister Norma Palmer (Bobi); and also Irving Palmer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Because Kitty was found at the SPCA in Norwich, the family would appreciate any donations made in Phyllis' memory go there to help other "Kittys" in need.
